Alex Moreno

I am an abstract painter using biomorphic figures to explore human emotions and spiritual experiences. My paintings are mostly acrylic, with added materials like egg, flowers, or wine to match the emotion I’m representing. Currently, I’m tapping into my creative writing background to bring stream-of-consciousness sentences and poems to the paintings, which bring us further inside the painted figures’ minds. At its core, my work illustrates a fundamental unity between all beings. We each have unique experiences, but if we boil down the details, what remains is a shared existence.
