Alexandra N Sherman

My work explores the landscape of the mind through many subjects primarily in the mediums of watercolor and collage. I seek to depict the spaces in-between that are difficult to verbalize yet can most assuredly be felt. I paint experiences of joy as well as despair, and the various states between the two. I am interested in portraying the uncertainty and mystery inherent in life and ourselves.
