Carol Barsha

Barsha’s work has been widely shown and recognized on a national scale. She’s been a resident artist at the American Academy in Rome and at The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and is a grant recipient from Maryland State Arts Council. Her work is in numerous private and public collections including The Women’s Art Collection in the UK and The Federal Reserve Board in DC. Her graduate studies with Philip Guston profoundly influenced her work. Jerry Saltz has described her painting as having “real magic and charismatic mystery”.
