Carol Barsha

Barsha has exhibited at The Art Institute of Boston, The Bronx Museum of the Arts, Katzen Museum/American U, Md Institute College of Art, an installation at The Whitney Biennial & the Arts in Embassies Program. Jerry Saltz describes her work as containing “real magic and charismatic mystery.” She was a resident artist at the American Academy/Rome & a grant recipient from Md State Arts Council. Her work is in private & public collections including The Women’s Art Collection at Cambridge University, UK & The Federal Reserve Board. Her work has been recognized by The NYTimes, The Boston Globe & the WashPost. Her mentor/teacher was Philip Guston.
