Carrie Brummer

Carrie’s artist practice is about elevating women, highlighting and addressing gender norms, and perfectionism. It’s recently even looked at the notion of motherhood and how it intersects with these issues. Carrie Brummer has exhibited internationally, including locations across Canada, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman. Her claim to fame is having her work in short term exhibitions at both The Smithsonian and The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She has also placed as a finalist in the Sheikha Manal Young Artist Award and the Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series. You can see her work @carriebrummerart
