For the past 15 years, my artmaking practice has explored an essential aspect of human nature—the desire to create a more perfect society. Through photography, watercolors, sculpture and ceramics, I explore the legacy of 1960s communes and their lasting influence on today’s society, with special attention paid to the often unheralded stories of women and children who were part of the counterculture.
