My mark making tells stories. Each block carries forth from the blocks before but something new is added. I mark my woodblocks in the way we tattoo our bodies allowing stories to live on and continue into the next work. The content of my work is inspired by the relevance of cross cultural and historical story, truths and myth and how it is relevant in today’s world. Transgenerational Epigenetic Inheritance, a form of memory that is passed down generationally informs my process. I integrate stories existing in our DNA, inherited from who came before, living on in who comes after
