Ciara Moore

Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland and for the past six years she’s been dividing her time between rural Connemara in Ireland and Los Angeles. Her work is inspired by the natural world; drawing on a fascination with the unknowable, non-human perception, states of transformation and ecological concerns. Her works explore themes of movement and energy in nature such as tectonic plates, fire and the ocean. She uses ink, pigments, found charcoal, wood, silk, wax and other found organic materials.
