Colors applied on canvas and the physicality of paint is why I paint. I am drawn to color that addresses its neighbors differently – vibrant, playful, peaceful, bold, chaotic, soft, or radiant. I explore tangible forms and representational images, jettisoning the unnecessary. ​ When I finish a painting, I have “dance[d] to the end of love.” (L.Cohen) Each painting has been mined to its core – it doesn’t rely on explanation – hopefully, it invites you in. When a painting resonates beyond its scale and feels contagious to you, the viewer, a conversation has begun.
