Domenica Bucalo

Bucalo’s work explores the tension and coexistence between interior and exterior, private and public. It investigates what holds in a conversation our strength and vulnerability. Uncovering the invisible becomes an opportunity. In particular, Bucalo’s images focus on women’s identity and history. Her series “Girls will be Girls”, has been included in Endless Edition Biennial Catalogue 2018, at the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts. The series is now part of Casa del Vaca del Parquet Retiro Collection, in Madrid, through the exhibition “Make America Dystopian Again”.
