Edith Gutierrez

I am a bi woman of color that likes to focus on the concept of healing from trauma. Instead of focusing on the traumatic event itself, I turn my attention to the aftermath of them and the feelings that surround them. To help convey those feelings, I do Drawings, Paintings, and performance art. I like to involve an audience to be a part of the work because I’m interested in what others have to say about their own daily lives and issues.
