Farrah Karapetian (1978 US) is an artist and public thinker based in California, who works with narratives of individual agency. Her transdisciplinary methods are research-based and incorporate sculptural and performative means of achieving imagery that refigures the medium of photography around bodily experience and participation. Her work is in multiple public collections, and she has received fellowships from the Fulbright Program, the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, the California Community Foundation, and the Center for Cultural Innovation. Her writing about visual and civic experience has been recognized by multiple publications.
