Jordan Buschur

Jordan Buschur is an artist, educator, and curator, with an M.F.A. in Painting from Brooklyn College, the City University of New York. Her paintings implant ordinary objects with psychological meanings, implying a human presence through depictions of accumulated collections. These collections, ranging from stacks of books to the contents of junk drawers, dwell on the oscillation between personal resonance and public consumption, reality and invention, fixed meaning and open interpretation.
