During the pandemic, the expanse of nature has been an important connection. I use a 360 camera to capture imagery. The circular form repeats often, I find that a comfort and also a limit, mirroring the self containment and isolation social distancing requires. The filming technique also creates a disembodied sense of floating. I print stills from the videos on metal and videos as video sculptures in ordinary materials such as glass bottles, water and plaster. The phenomenological presence bridge and connect these disparate worlds of the virtual and physical.
