I start with the notion that all art is a window. A narrative is also a window that allows for infinite additional, embedded stories. So I approach my work with the idea that there will be multiple points of view and perspectives to engage with. The first time I ever had to communicate on an analog device, the experience of being in the same room and yet not, changed my understanding of space, forever. I engage my materials to expose textures and surfaces with varying degrees of focus.
