Linda Sue Price

Linda Sue Price is known for injecting her personal reflections into abstract shapes and for manipulating how neon is perceived as a medium. She creates work with a gestural and whimsical core. Using elements such as acrylic sheets, spheres, rods, and metal washers, Price plays with the light and glow. She mixes color, reflection, texture and animation to create playful visual experiences. Price bends freeform which can be described as dancing with the glass. When you bend to pattern you come out of the fire and bend to a pattern on the work bench. In freeform bending you come out of the fire and bend in the air. It looks like a dance.
