Lois Keller

After cultivating a reputation at some of America’s most prestigious theaters and historic landmarks, Lois Keller gave up a burgeoning career as a scenic artist to raise a family and devote herself to her own painting.Lois has been able to combine the technical virtuosity she refined in the theater with her own vision to develop a truly distinctive style. Working from her daily sketchbook practice she creates a universal appeal to personal events. She had a solo show at the University of Chicago & The Chicago School of Professional Psychology entitled “Quiddity: the true nature of a thing” a series of paintings exploring adoption.
