My photography runs the gamut between recreating Hieronymus Bosch’s artworks to combining my images with poetry to making portraits of people from all walks of life, using traditional methods such as wet plate collodion. I also make landscape work, which sometimes is backed with silver or gold leaf, and I portray taxidermied animals as menacing beings. My work is based on reality, with a little twist. My newest work looks at my reactions, fears, and emotions surrounding the current COVID-19 crisis. I have paired my images with phrases from Mary Oliver’s poetry.
