Maureen E Clark

Maureen E Clark is a self-taught acrylic painter, with a focus on nature, landscapes and waterscapes. Working out of her home studio, in the Franklinton Arts District of Downtown Columbus, Ohio. Her intent is to produce work that evokes calm, happiness, optimism and joy. The positive physical effects of water can induce a meditative state that makes us happier, healthier, calmer, more creative, and more capable of awe. Being present in nature and even viewing nature in local urban settings creates a calming space; with cognitive benefits, building resilience and providing a sense of hope.
