I make videos, sculptures, objects, installations, publications and wall pieces. My work assembles personal and cultural references seen through a feminist lens; with a tactile practice of using textiles to create handmade books, newspapers, objects and stop-action animation. Interaction with the viewer is an integral part of my practice, as is collaboration with other artists. These two elements: interaction and collaboration, underline my deep interest in the relational aspect of art-making. I see art as an extension of the self’s desire to relate, understand and make connections to others.
