Although the virtual space of painting and drawing is where all my projects begin, I frequently find myself in the realms of architecture, theater, decor and applied arts. Paintings and drawings are arenas within which all possibilities may occur. Stylized forms and planes coated in pastel and hothouse hues populate these scenes, along with a use of pattern that expresses visual rhythm. I define all my work at any scale as the creation of vivid backdrops for human activity.
