Mira Lanz

Mira Lanz creates ceramic vessels and digital works that emphasize form and consciousness. Influenced by neuroscience and the curiosity of human nature, her video work interprets the shadow sides of one’s experiences and overcomes fears of intimacy, often combining overlapping imagery and ambient noise. While Lanz’s ceramics challenge the lines of functional and sculptural, it also explores a relationship between personal concern and surrealism.
