Raphaele Cohen-Bacry

I was born and raised in Paris, France where I studied painting and print making in various schools while completing my Doctorate in pharmacology. I worked in my Parisian studio until 2004, when I moved to Los Angeles. A few years ago I decided to take a break from my paint brushes and I started to explore new ways of applying paint. It then took me to exploring other techniques such as collage and video art. I use auction magazines and wall paper to build my small and large collages on canvas. It makes them unique in their scale and style.
