Regina D Jestrow

Regina Jestrow b. 1978, New York, lives and works in Miami, Florida. Jestrow attended Fashion Institute of Technology (SUNY) from 1996-1999. Jestrow’s work stem from her on-going interest in Folk Art Quilts, geometric patterns in nature, and geometric-abstract artists from the mid-twentieth century. She takes traditions from quilt making using improvisation, contrast, repeat patterns, and shifts in scale, and incorporates colors and textures representative of her surroundings in South Florida.
