Manipulating the body through paint and pastels is my medium of choice. The body can speak volumes if we are willing to become observant enough. Still enough. This body language often becomes the main concentration within my work. The movement, gesture and posture of these compositions create a unique story for each and every viewer. The way one holds their body in space is an insight to a larger narrative; an unspoken language. This communication can be a glimpse into our emotional state; a deeper understanding of who we really are.
