I hope to surprise, look anew at our planet and what we are doing to it. Trained as a painter, I now paint with my photographs and mixed media. I am fascinated by juxtapositions of diverse images that resonate together to create new views of the world. Conscious of the cycles of life that permeate all: birth, aging, and death, I look for a common ground between extremes. Chaos and Order. Strength and Fragility. Solid and Fluid. Nature and Man-made. Useful and Discarded. I find things that change constantly and layer them into an image, like memories that pile up to form a personality. From London, I have lived in L.A. area since I was 14.
