Susie Cassens

Susie Cassens shares her love of vistas, florals and streetscapes through rich colors and an expressionistic manner. Her goal is always to inspire and create an intimate connection between the viewer and her Art. Susie Cassens love of art began at an early age with her family’s encouragement. Female artists have been prominent on both sides of her family. Cassens studied oil painting at the age of 16 with Therese Knowles, a well known impressionest-style Landscape artist from France, who studied with Florida Master Artist, A. E. Backus. She continued her education in the Arts at the University of Florida and Florida Atlantic.
