Inspired by nature and mythology, my work revolves around imaginary landscapes and the idea of family in a broad sense, exploring the relationship between humanity and nature. As a visual artist, my work spans from rubbing, painting, sculpture, installation, performance and collective project in collaboration with communities. Spindles: 100 Hers is a collective piece in which fifty women were invited to put their own hand prints on two textile sculptures, it’s about women, life, blood and compassion. It’s currently installed at the Adams Square Park in Glendale until October 1st.
