Born in Poland and raised in Germany, Zofie King came to the US in 1998. She is primarily a sculptor who uses found objects, but she incorporates various media including molded paper, resin, fabrics, black acrylic, encaustic, watercolor, cyanotypes and LED lights. She assembles pieces into psychological cabinets of curiosity that examine beliefs, perceptions and lore.
