Adjoa is a printmaker, mixed media, and installation artist. She studied at Howard University and Corcoran College of Art and Design. Her collages, prints, and sculptural installations often utilize discarded materials such as cardboard. Her work addresses issues of consumerism and waste in Western society, and draws upon cultural and personal memory. Her works are included in collections at the Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, Brooklyn Art Library, Banneker Douglass Museum of Culture and History, The Southside Community Art Center, Art Colle Museum of Collage in France, and the Verbeke Foundation in Belgium.
