I create mixed media pop art stencil and collage portraits celebrating. My first series is focused on women. My goal is to create artwork that unifies people showcasing our individuality, strength, diversity and connection with each other while also commenting on the unrealistic demands society puts on women. All the collage is all upcycled magazines. I use these so that I can recreate the narrative of societal expectations by using positive messages in a powerful new portrait, and secondly anything we can do to recycle materials is an environmental benefit. I believe we have to fight for our environmental and human rights.
