Susan Leonhard

I am best known for my series of contemporary underwater paintings where I focus on the surreal beauty of the underwater world. My paintings are vibrant, yet serene and focus solely on the transparency, color, and reflections in the water. Having been inspired by the beautiful water off the coast of the north shore of Kauai, this series came alive in 2014 and has evolved into my primary artistic focus for the past 6 years. My series also include paintings of Kauai, Laguna Beach and landscapes from various locations.
