Cheryl Walker’s drawing centered, interdisciplinary studio practice is an exploration of the emerging unexpected and is inspired by fluid movement and intuitive mark-making. Walker recently participated in the international artist residency program Draw To Perform, in Brighton, UK. She has created live visual effects in collaborative performance in Los Angeles at REDCAT and MOCA, with Emilie Conrad in SOMAFest, with Rachel Rosenthal’s TOHUBOHU! Extreme Theater Ensemble, performed with Simone Forti, and others. Walker has been actively exhibiting her work for over three decades and her artwork is held in numerous private collections.
