Joy Garnett

Joy Garnett is an artist and writer from NY whose work explores the archive in its various forms. She has exhibited at the FLAG Art Foundation, MoMA-PS1, Whitney Museum, Artists Space, Smack Mellon, White Columns, Milwaukee Art Museum, Museum of Contemporary Craft Portland, Boston University Art Gallery, National Academy of Sciences and Witte Zaal, Belgium. She has received grants from Anonymous Was a Woman, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Wellcome Trust, Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts and the Chipstone Foundation, and her work can be found in The West Collection, the permanent collection of the National Academy of Sciences, and Altria.
