Leslie Goldman

Melbourne-based painter/illustrator Leslie Goldman intuitively listens to her media’s splotches and drips to transform them into quirky characters and dreamlike environments reminiscent of both her adopted home in Australia and the whimsical and wild worlds of folktales and children’s stories. From A Sense of Wonder Studio, Leslie creates paintings and illustrations bursting with creatures, snark and flowing colors. Originally from the United States, she has called Pennsylvania, New York, Texas, Maryland and now Melbourne Australia home. Her work is held in private collections throughout the United States, Australia, Mexico, UK and Israel.
