Lorraine Heitzman

Lorraine Heitzman is an artist, writer and curator. She received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she studied with many of the Chicago Imagists. She was represented by Nancy Lurie and showed at the Museum of Contemporary Art, The Cultural Center and Navy Pier. In Los Angeles, she has curated shows at the Keystone Gallery, Launch LA and FOCA, where she was a recent recipient of their Curators Lab Award. She has had solo shows at Alto Beta, Pierce College Art Gallery, Shoebox Projects, Winslow Garage and Curve, Line, Space, and has been writing art reviews for Art and Cake LA, as well as essays for art catalogs.
