Nina Waisman is a multimedia artist, grounded in visarts, dance & science. Her interactive installations, performances, videos, prints, etc – center movement & sensation, engaging bodies in order to open minds about issues like surveillance, invisible labor, machine-human feedback loops. She created & directs The Laboratory for Embodied Intelligences (LEI), a collective of artists, scientists, non-western naturalists & movement experts, producing art, performance and community events that seek to learn from species wiser than humans. Waisman has exhibited at Dorothy Chandler Music Center, Hammer Museum, CECUT, House of World Cultures/Berlin
