Sandra Low

There is power in humor. The unspeakable can be spoken; the bitter pill can be swallowed. Sandra Low’s art combines humor and the juxtaposition of diverse imagery to parody culture, as seen through the lens of a cross-cultural American perspective. Pop surrealism, social commentary, and idiosyncratic narrative are consistent threads throughout her work. Low received her Master of Fine Arts at the University of Southern California and completed her Bachelor degrees in art and sociology at UC Berkeley.
