Shawn Dulaney

I have practiced art since I was a child. It’s a companion that helps me breathe, ground and navigate life. I grew up in Colorado on a huge plateau with an expansive view of the sky. I have lived in the New York area for 41 years, and Brooklyn the last 30 of those with my husband and 2 sons. My paintings are abstract depictions of atmospheric spaces with light and movement, skies and bodies of water predominantly. I make handmade paint and use a Venetian plaster ground over linen.
