Susan Kurland

Susan t. Kurland is a multi-media artist using household objects such as furniture, fabric and thread to make her art. As a seamstress, Kurland draws from her experience making garments and costumes to inform the pieces used in each new form. By manipulation and layering these common elements new textures and shapes are woven into a visual response.
