I am a painter whose work uses landscape as a form of self-portraiture. Drawing from art history, memory, and direct observation, I create paintings that explore the emotional and psychological charge of place. My recent work considers the landscape as a site where beauty, loss, desire, and environmental change converge. Through color, scale, and the language of painting itself, I seek to create images that function as votives, holding both personal experience and broader cultural anxieties.
