At the core of my artistic practice are notions of duality and balance. I explore forms that oscillate between the utopian idea of humanity’s enlightenment and well-being and the post-apocalyptic scenario of irreversible decay, the failure of the humanist project. I contrast natural and anthropogenic factors, viewing nature as a conduit to a higher mind. I am interested in the relationship between human and nature, in the consequences of the technological determinism. I view Anthropocentrism as a kind of anti-nature, spiritual degradation – ultimately a destructive impulse.
