Painting is a means to explore, study, and anchor oneself in uncertain times. Ada Pullini Brown is a Los Angeles based painter and printmaker. A New York native, she studied at the High School of Art & Design, Queens College, the University of Houston, and the Lacoste School of the Arts in France. Brown is a retired Professor of Painting and Drawing at Rio Hondo College and has maintained a studio at the Brewery Artist Complex since 1993. She has been an artist-in-residence at the Vermont Studio Center. Her work is included in several collections such as Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and the Blanton Museum of Art (Austin, TX).
