Bz Zhang 张迪

I am an interdisciplinary artist and architect in Los Angeles. I make paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations, and built environment work that trace, unravel, assemble, and collapse the distance between us and our shared legacies of imperialism and settler colonialism. Throughout, I leverage Western and Chinese-diasporic materials, methods, and archives against each other and themselves to unearth stories of migration, labor, capital, and empire.
