Carole Silverstein

Carole Silverstein is a LA painter whose work investigates perception, ornament, and spatial experience through pattern as a vehicle for encoded meaning and spiritual inquiry. Her work, shown nationally and internationally, was featured in the 2015 Venice Biennale exhibition “We Must Risk Delight: 20 Artists from Los Angeles”. She’s had 4 solo shows with Nancy Toomey Fine Art at Minnesota Street Project, San Francisco, where she is represented. Her work is included in public and private collections, including LACMA, Art in U.S. Embassies, Citibank, Paradigm Talent Agency, and the Laura Dern Collection. BFA- SAIC & MFA- Queens College CUNY
