Jacqueline Freedman

My work is reflective of my movements through the world. Whether I am physically walking through space on a forested path or curated garden, or finding images on the net or a magazine. I photograph things that are personally striking and compelling; things with which I am obsessed both personal and political. The photographs become colored inkjet prints. I use the inkjet prints to build image fields containing multitudes of both harmonious but often disparate forms. My goal is to ignite a viewer’s imagination encouraging them to create their own narrative from the abundance of images I have placed into the work.
