Janet Morgan

Janet Morgan has had a long and varied art career, involving painting, public art, dance, curating, environmental work and books. She depicts energy with vibrant color, line and plenty of movement. Among her figurative painting series are: a pantheon of 200 deities, many Wild Women, musicians and dancers (Middle Eastern and modern) and works from and about the Body’s Energy. She has painted all over the world and has done residencies including Death Valley National Park, Babayan in Turkey, Luminous Bodies at Netscape Toronto, Coney Island Clown School and 14 years as a teaching artists at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck New York.
