Lorraine Bubar

Lorraine Bubar’s paper pieces are a tribute to the heritage of papercutting found in diverse cultures around the world and illustrate the flora, fauna, and color palette found in fragile ecosystems. She is inspired by numerous National Parks where she has been the Artist in Residence and by the urban landscapes where she lives. Her unique paper pieces are cut by hand, creating intricate laceworks of paper and layered colored papers.
