Teresa Bernadette is a multidisciplinary fine, performing, & literary artist, exploring themes of shame, disgust, & grief. Through material & modal experimentation, Teresa uses traditional & non-traditional media as vehicles to reflect on lived experiences with eating disorders, postpartum depression, isolation, & mourning—uncovering lovely, tender parts of themself, & the tenacious, resilient bits, too. If their personal art practice is about capturing the ephemerality of those glimpses of grace, Teresa’s social art practice is about building intrinsic networks, reentangling artists and communities, reengaging the disenfranchised.
