Nakeya Brown

Nakeya Brown Artist Talk and Photo-Booth

Saturday, October 21, 2017, 4 P.M
Attendees are invited to bring one book of choice to be photographed on site by DC-based artist Nakeya Brown. You will leave with a free image of your book. Brown will later commemorate the session by collecting the portraits into a ‘zine, which will join the other books in her exhibition Nakeya Brown: Stage Names. This photo-session is part of Now Be Here DC, a citywide celebration of female and female-identifying artists in the region.
